Everyone wants long, beautiful lashes, therefore eyelash extensions have remained the trendiest must-have in the beauty business. You’re not the only beginning lash artist that is having trouble. Our specialists have compiled some useful tips that novice lash artists should know in order to help you feel more at ease.
Tip 1. Placing the pads too close to the eyes and scratching the eyelids are two of the primary causes of red eyes. Place the pads at least 1-2mm below the waterline of your eyes to stop this.
Tip 2. You may also cut the pads before attaching them if the pads don’t match your client’s face shape and generate air pockets between the skin and the pad, which results in a poor grip.
Tip 3. Our little instruction on placing eye pads:
1. Select under-eye pads that fit the shape of the client’s eyes
2. Select high-quality pads that securely hold the bottom lashes
3. Select pads that don’t contain too many additional ingredients that might irritate the client’s eyes.
Tip 4. Do not use a glue palette or gel pads to remove excess glue from the extension! Simply dip the extension into the glue dot’s center and slowly pull it out. The ideal amount of adhesive will be absorbed by it.
Tip 5. Use a lash map (including curls and strengths) to clear the way if a short natural lash keeps getting in the way of your isolation. Isolation will be a lot simpler for you now that you can perceive and disregard the small lash.
Tip 6. Remember to keep the lashes clean. When your clients come, you should clean the lashes if they aren’t spotless before applying them. Use makeup remover to take off all cosmetics on your customer’s eyes. If there is mascara or eyeliner left, your lash retention will be affected.
Tip 7. Choose the correct size and fit by analyzing the eyes of your consumers. Customers usually come to your salon when they have a specific lash style in mind. However, you can suggest to them some lash styles that are more suitable for their eyes. This will set you apart from your competitors!
